SEABA Art Hop is rapidly approaching! Make sure you include The Green House in your Art Hop plans, during the weekend of Sept. 11-13, 2026. Our hours that weekend are Friday 5-8pm, Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 10-4!

Green House Artists showing work at Art Hop include Nancy Stalnaker, Liz Buchanan, Cheryl Summa, Longina Smolinski, Sharon Webster and Marie McCann. Sharon has invited her friend and student, Tom Garrett, to exhibit his art in the Green House lobby.

Tom, who lives in Burlington, is a longtime artist whose watercolor work features deeply-observed detail and strong design that emerged from the travel and nature sketchbooks he maintained for more than 20 years.
Before his retirement in 2016, Tom was a lawyer for Vermont Legal Aid and became the founding director of Lawline of Vermont. He brought his calm and nuanced approach to countless sensitive cases to help those in need.
Although Tom has lived with the challenges of memory loss for five years, his art continues to bloom. He paints with Sharon once a week in his home studio.
